Käsi is a work of two performers based on improvisation, which
goes where the mind does
Käsi deals with the hands, gestures and other parts of the body. The performance reaches out the boundary experiences of body, language and thinking. It focusses on the processes of the emergence, densification, and thinning of meanings and associations.

The performance is part of Katariina Numminen's dissertation on artistic research, which deals with the relationship between dramaturgy and play, as well as pause, interruption, gesture and repetition as dramaturgical phenomena.
The performance is supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Taike, and the University of the Arts Helsinki Theater Academy.
