Petrolio is Niko Hallikainen's ninth solo work, which explores the various manifestations of energy crises that have their roots in Western culture as a whole.

"Hallikainen has not given up on what has driven him forward in the past, which is a kind of search for new rituals for today. How to mourn, how to let go, how to move on, how to rejoice selflessly," writes Maria Säkö in a review for Helsingin Sanomat.

"An hour and a half does not let the mind wander. The performance flows with a compelling and heartfelt flow."
