Politics of Theater - Mad House moved to Tekstin talo

After a long search, the performing arts community Mad House Helsinki has found a new home for its activities in Tekstin Talo, a new house in Kallio, Helsinki, which will open in January.

Mad House Helsinging Executive Director Emmi Vainio and Tekstin Haus Executive Director Laura Serkosalo visited the Theatre Politics Podcast, which discusses the current social relevance of performing arts and looks towards the theatricality of politics. In the episode, they talk about what can be achieved through the synergy of small cultural communities, how space issues can be used to make good cultural policy and how, among other things, the post-dramatic Mad House and the literary cultivating Tekstin talo fit together.
