In April 2023, Mad House Helsinki and Taideosuuskunta Suin päin organized the Tuottajautopia discussion event, which discussed the deepening of cooperation between artists and producers in the free field and the possibilities in the future, especially from the perspective of the performing arts. Welcome to discuss and dream about the future of artistic-production cooperation in the free field of performing arts. Institutions, students and practising performing artists and producers are invited to participate.

The open call for the Mad House Helsinki performing arts program for 2024 is now open. The deadline for applications is 31.3.2023.

Mad House has found a new venue. We are part of the Tekstin talo project and the new space will open to the public in autumn 2023 in the Elanto district of Sörnäinen, Helsinki.

A new executive director started at Mad House in January, and two curators have been appointed for the coming 2023-2024 seasons. We also present the composition of Madi's board of directors.

Mad House elected a new board for 2022-2023 at the end of May! The board has started its work at the beginning of the summer and works in cooperation with the staff of the Mad House office. The office will be on vacation during July, and we will return to art in August.

Mad House is co-producing the OAF's performing arts programme!

We are looking for a new space suitable for a stage. The previous lease expired at the end of 2021 and now we are looking for a long-term space where Finnish Performing Arts and live art can be displayed.

We are pleased to finally present the artists selected for NoMad House. Nine different works by 22 artists will be experienced during 2022.

Artists Tea Andreoletti and Daniela Pascual are the curators of the 2022 NoMad House programme. With Mad House having to vacate its Teurastamo space at the end of this year* and Mad House temporarily operating without its own space, the new curators approach curating through audiences.

Mad House welcomes new Executive Director Pia Houn! Pia Houni was selected by the Board of Directors of Mad House Friends of Mad House Association in the summer through an open call for applications and she will start full-time on 1 October 2021.

Mad House Helsinki opens its last season in the Teurastamo performance space at the beginning of September. Before moving to another place, there will be a rich and versatile programme at Mad House's garage stage.
